Building a bespoke mirror for the heads

Knut Grønn transforms some teak into a stylish mirror

The Mrs wanted a new mirror when powdering her nose in the main bathroom.

Cut some teakboards and glued them together, first layer tight together vertically and the second with 5mm space horizontally.

Made some cardboard templates for the outer diameter and the cutout for the mirror glass.

Marked up the inner and outer diameter and cut it. Turned it upside down and used a router to cut a ledge for the glass to be glued onto. Some layers of lacquer later and voila.

The Mrs is smiling from ear to ear
