Instrument Installation for SO30i

The standard version of the SO30i has only a compass as the navigation aid.
So I needed to install an echosounder and log instruments, fitting them to the left and right of the compass.


There are 6 screws on top of the combined hatch garage and instrument pod, remove the 6 screws then pull hard. There was quite a bit of sealant on mine around the screw holes so quite difficult to remove.., But by tugging by hand beneath the compass and using all my strength and several attempts, it finally came off, but did cause a small 20mm crack on the starboard side.
