Electric winch transfer

Brent Meyer made this simple modification to allow his port side electric powered winch able to haul the main halyard via unpowered winch on the starboard side. A single turn on the starboard winch ensures correct lead from the stopper. Whilst the rope tail crosses the companionway, this is only whilst the mainsail is being hoisted.

To avoid damage to the teak rails, two S/S guards on the companionway wood surround have been chiseled in, revarnished and bonded with 3M 5200 White adhesive.
